More Frequently Asked Questions
In a nutshell: You buy a $400 folding reformer off Amazon. You join a 1 hour Zoom class from your lounge room a couple of times a week.
In the Zoom class we partner you with 3 classmates and you take turns teaching each other Pilates while a trainer watches and gives you corrections in real time.
We only let you move on from each skill once we see you've mastered it. So there's no box-checking, no rushing.
You have videos of all the exercises and teaching skills to refer to in your learning portal. But the heart and soul of the program are the 50+ live teaching workshops you have access to every week. Most days you can't go more than about 3 hours without being able to teach live in front of one of our trainers.
So TLDR:
You teach live on Zoom for an hour, twice a week
We coach you live
We don't let you move on until you master each skill
It takes around 5-6 months for most students to reach a level of skill where they're really, really good and they're ready to graduate.
Then we coach you for up to 6 months out in the workplace to help you get started in the industry.
You'll learn a complete matwork and reformer Pilates teaching skill set.
All the exercises from beginner to advanced, cueing, programming, anatomy, pre and postnatal, injuries, and how to teach mixed ability groups.
There is nothing else you need to become a master of teaching matwork and reformer Pilates.
We teach reformer the same way we would in person—by watching you move and giving you real-time corrections.
You’ll set up your camera so we can clearly see you on the reformer. You’ll practice live in small groups on Zoom, and a trainer will cue and correct you as you go.
Most students use a foldable reformer that costs around $300–$400. It’s more than enough to learn on and pays for itself quickly once you start teaching.
The biggest difference is frequency. Instead of 12 hours once a month, you’ll practice 2–3 times per week. Short, frequent practice is how people actually learn—so most students progress faster, not slower.

That’s completely normal—and it’s exactly what the course is for.
You don’t need to be flexible, athletic, or “perfect” to start. You don’t need to do the splits or look like a dancer. This program is built for regular people with regular bodies.
You will get better at the exercises during the course. More importantly, you’ll learn how to teach—how to cue, modify, and work with real clients who also have regular bodies.
Great Pilates instructors come in all shapes and ages. And skills are learnable.

Some people finish faster, some take a little longer, but everyone graduates confident and competent.
Once you graduate from your certification, we'll coach you in the workplace for another 4-6 months until you're 100% confident and have fully integrated your skills.
You'll need to dedicate one hour a day—roughly 7 hours per week.
We run over 40 live sessions every week, across all time zones.
We have trainers in Australia, the UK, Central Europe, and the USA, and students in 20+ countries. Classes run morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight 6 days a week, and all sessions are 1 hour in duration.

This course is for regular people with zero Pilates teaching experience. Your confidence will build steadily as you practice and get the reps in.
By the time you graduate, you won’t be afraid, because you’ll have already taught 50+ live sessions during the course.
We’ve got you.
After you graduate we keep coaching you in the real world for as long as it take for you to integrate your skills and master your craft. Usually that's about 4-6 months.
It works like this: You send us a video of you teaching a real class, and we’ll give you feedback and coach you.
You'll also join live calls where you can ask questions about your real clients - especially tricky ones like injuries and special needs.
Yes. We have a full business coaching program called our Pilates studio Academy. It includes a wealth of tools, trainings, templates and live coaching to build your Pilates business, whether that's a solo thing from your lounge room, or a full-blown commercial studio.
We also have a coaching program to help you find a job at a studio using a very simple networking process - and yes it works if you don't know anyone, and even if you're an introvert.
